Weaving a familiar path through rows of vegetables, the moonlight glow picks out the russet coloured fur of a sneaky fox. The bowing heads of sunflowers and giant artichokes form a colourful backdrop to the stylized forms of vegetable leaves. From years of living in the countryside, it’s at night that all the activity happens and I wanted to capture the spirit of the wild fox busy on his quiet adventures.

Rich in colour with a palette of deep greens, earthy browns and warm blues.
